Skinny

Coming from a past where drugs, imprisonment, and ridicule were the norm, writing was Skinny’s savior. His first attempt to write for an audience resulted in a published poetry book. The reception was lackluster as the work failed to find its target audience.

The song “Welcome to Skinnyville” was originally a poem that was to be Skinny’s last. Instead of being the end, this track started a new chapter in his life. He now seeks to inspire others and says:

“No matter how bad things get … whether you sleep in a dumpster, hustle drugs, or constantly end up behind bars, I’ve been through it all … there is always a more positive solution …”

He will not rest until the entire world hears the story of Skinnyville.
